Inkjet Cartridges
After we've refilled your cartridge, follow these tips to keep your printer and cartridges in top condition. This will help us continue to refill your cartridge and help you continue to save money by doing so.
1. Never let your cartridge completely run out of ink. Inkjet cartridges have their own print heads nowadays and will burn out if it continues firing dry. As soon as your printer declares the cartridge low, make preparations to get it refilled. This will assure long term savings. If the print head on your cartridge burns out it cannot be refilled.
2. Inkjet Cartridges can be saved even if left out of your printer for over a year. With our technology, we can save 99% of all cartridges.
3. Do not leave your cartridge in a hot car, this will cause pressure to build inside the cartridge and it will expand and cause leakage.
4. If you happen to notice missing lines or broken text while printing, this means your printhead needs to be cleaned. DO NOT touch the printhead with your fingers. Try using your printers cleaning cycle. If this doesn't fix the problem bring it into our store and we'll clean it for you.
5. After installing any new or refilled cartridge. Be sure to print at least 2 pages to settle the ink inside the cartrdige.
Laser toner cartridge
Again, follow these tips to help us save you money.
1. Always store all cartridges in a normal room temperature. Usually between 65 and 75 degrees.
2. When toner becomes empty, we will provide you with a plastic bag to place it in. If possible try to find a cardboard box to place it in as well.
3. Never attempt to open or disassemble your cartridge. There are parts of your toner cartridge that are light sensitive and will become damaged.
4. Never leave your cartridge in your car even if it's cloudy or cool. Your car traps any heat generated from the sun and can distort the plastic on your cartridge rendering it useless.
5. Have your cartridge refilled as soon as you can. Don't leave it lying around as it may get accidentally damaged or mistaken for debris.
Important Note:
In the event you get a little toner on your hands, simply wash them with soap and warm water. If toner ever gets on your clothes, remove the clothing and shake it outside in the open. If there is still some sign of toner on the clothing DO NOT wash in hot water. Hot water mixed with toner will generate a permanent stain and can never be removed thereafter. Use COLD water only and wash it alone.
